Drunk On Rom-Coms is a podcast where your favorite tipsy besties, Marie & Coni, pop a couple bottles and talk about all things romantic comedies. There’s minimum research and maximum sass in each episode. They want nothing more than for you to join them on a wild ride of nonsense and thirsty comments.

At the end of each episode, Marie & Coni rank the romantic comedy on their Shot System.

How many shots does one need to get through this romantic comedy? One is always a great sign and that movie should be so proud. Oh, you need 10 shots to get through this movie because it’s trash? That’s no bueno. You will be sha-wasted.

Why Drunk On Rom-Coms?

We love watching romantic comedies in general. We also love sangria. And champagne. And tequila.

We want you to feel like you’re in the room with us sharing a bottle of wine and some cheese ‘n crackers while watching a ridiculous movie about love, relationships, and classic comedic timing.

Are you actually drunk when you’re recording?

It’s more like a nice level of tipsy. We record our episodes in batches - meaning we’ll have DORC party weekends where we’re recording 4-5 episodes in one weekend. We typically cheers to successful recordings with a shot of tequila and enjoy a glass (or two) of wine throughout the episodes. Fun fact: the very first episode of DORC was a fail because Marie forgot to hit record after the tequila shot. And we had to redo it all over again.

How did you meet?

Our friendship came to be during our freshman year of college in 2010! We met at a sorority recruitment event and shortly after, pledged together. It didn’t take long for both of us to realize we were bestie soul mates.
